Per the guidance of our scholars, this project is Zakat-eligible.

Edmonton Islamic Academy was established in 1987 in the basement of the Al Rashid Mosque, the first mosque in Canada. The school grew quickly and currently supports more than 1400 students from Preschool to Grade 12.

We educate the next generation of Muslim leaders while preserving their religious and cultural identity. Students find the full expression of their Muslim faith through rigorous academics, community service projects, and active participation in leadership roles.

Our new school building will meet the growing demands of Edmonton’s Muslim community and be a destination school for families seeking our distinctive combination of academic excellence and emphasis on Muslim faith and culture.

When you say “I am from here & here I am,” it’s about belonging, pride, and showing up for our future. Represent that every day with merch that speaks for itself.
